Q.1

Do I need to be in good shape before coming to  CrossFit Laval and start Phase 1?

A: No. Untrained people start their Phase 1 every week with no problem. Remember that when you come in for your phase 1, we adjust your workout according to your level of fitness.  Doing Phase 1 will get you in shape quicker and will prepare you faster for group classes than training on your own before your first visit. The best way to prepare for CrossFit is to CrossFit.

A: A session lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour including warm-up, workout and cool down.

What is the difference between a private session and a group session?

A: In a private session, you have one coach assigned to you and only you.
Also if you have specific goals to achieve that go beyond General Physical Prepardness(GPP) or you need to prepare for a specific physical test, we can adress that during private sessions.

In a group class setting, there is one coach with usually a minimum of 3 people but the coach will be monitoring everybody’s form and ensure intensity is maintained.
